Ciara Sotto is now part of ALLTV

Accomplished theater, TV and movie actress Ciara Sotto has joined the country’s new television network, ALLTV, the premiere broadcast TV station of the Advanced Media Broadcast System (AMBS).

Ciara Sotto, also a singer, TV host, dancer, and fitness enthusiast, has signed the contract with ALLTV on Thursday at Mella Hotel in Las Piñas City with AMBS President Maribeth Tolentino, Chief Financial Officer Maryknoll Tolentino, and general counsel Atty. TJ Mendoza.

Ciara joins popular TV host, comedian, and businessman Willie Revillame; showbiz couple Toni Gonzaga and Paul Soriano; and broadcaster Anthony Taberna, who are now all part of ALLTV.

ALLTV is under Prime Assets Ventures, Inc. led by businessman Manuel Paolo Villar.

AMBS President Maribeth Tolentino officially welcomed Ciara to the ALLTV family during the contract signing last Thursday. 

“We want ALLTV to cater to all, and make everyone feel that they are part of our growing family. We are working on a variety of programs that appeal to all, especially the masses,” Tolentino said. 

“We are focused on bringing exciting entertainment shows to our viewers, and I am sure Ciara can help us with that aspect,” she added. “Handa tayong magpasaya for all sa ALLTV.” 

Ciara said she is happy to join the TV network. “I am honored to be considered as one of your talents, and I am very, very excited to work with all of you. God bless you and I promise I’d do my best, and I am very, very easy to work with,” said Ciara, who was very grateful for the opportunity to work with ALLTV.

Ciara is the current President and founder of Philippine Pole and Aerial Sports Association (PPASA). She also founded the women’s community group, PRINSESA. 

Despite all her achievements, Ciara values her role as a mom to son Crixus the most.  She is the youngest daughter of former Senate President Vicente Sotto and Helen Gamboa, both popular actors and respected pillars of the Philippine showbiz industry. 

To boost its programming, ALLTV also signed a content license agreement with CNN Philippines, the most trusted news source in the country, for the airing of its flagship new program, News Night.

ALLTV is available on Channel 2 on Planet Cable and free TV, Channel 16 on digital, Channel 35 on Cignal TV and Sky Cable, and local cable providers nationwide.

ALLTV partners with CNN Philippines for credible news content 

ALLTV, the premiere television channel of the Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS), has partnered with trusted TV network, CNN Philippines, to boost its credibility in the delivery of reliable news and timely information to Filipino viewers.

CNN Philippines’ flagship news program, “News Night”, anchored by CNN Chief Anchor/Correspondent Pia Hontiveros, will be aired simultaneously at ALLTV from Monday to Friday at 6 p.m., starting September 13.

AMBS President Maribeth C. Tolentino and Chief Financial Officer Maryknoll Zamora forged the content rights agreement with CNN Philippines’ President Benjamin V. Ramos for the airing of CNN Philippines on ALLTV.

“CNN Philippines Hour on ALLTV” will be a 60-minute news program that showcases the day’s top stories with live reports, in-depth analysis, and live interviews with prominent personalities.   The segment will also be made available on 12 Radio Philippines Network (RPN) stations in key cities in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

ALLTV is under Prime Assets Ventures, Inc (PAVI) led by businessman Manuel Paolo Villar. 

According to Tolentino, ALLTV is banking on the years-long experience of CNN Philippines in delivering credible news to the public. 

“Through CNN Philippines, we can provide our viewers with in-depth local news coverage, and a global perspective on key issues, and stories from around the world,”  she said during the signing on Wednesday morning held at Mella Hotel in Las Piñas City.

With CNN Philippines adjudged as the most trusted news source in the country, Tolentino added, TV viewers can be sure that ALLTV will be fair and balanced when it delivers news content, political opinions and insights.

Calling the partnership as a game-changer, Ramos said the agreement with ALLTV will further bolster the reach of CNN Philippines throughout the archipelago.   “This is the first of its kind, it is a game-changer,” he added during yesterday’s signing ceremony.

“We have an opportunity to reach more people in many parts of the country, and deliver news that’s accurate, fair and balanced,” he added.

ALLTV is available on channel 2 on free-to-air TV and Planet Cable;  Channel 16 on digital, Channel 35 on Cignal TV and Sky Cable; as well as local cable stations around the country.

Anthony Taberna joins Advanced Media Broadcasting System’s ALLTV

For his wit and no-nonsense commentaries, broadcast journalist and radio commentator, Anthony Taberna, has been added to the growing roster of broadcast personalities joining the Advanced Media Broadcasting System’s (AMBS) ALLTV.

Taberna signed the contract with AMBS President Maribeth Tolentino, AMBS General Counsel Atty. TJ Mendoza, AMBS Chief Finance Officer Maryknoll Zamora at Mella Hotel in Las Piñas on Sept. 6, 2022. Taberna was accompanied by his wife and Outbox Media’s top executive, Rossel.

ALLTV is the newest TV network joining the Philippine broadcast spectrum that aims to provide Filipino viewers an elevated TV experience in the country.

Tolentino cited Taberna’s high-trust rating as the reason why ALLTV tapped him as one of the pioneer talents of the new TV network.

The country’s top radio and TV commentator said he is humbled by ALLTV’s move to tap him as one of the pioneer broadcast personalities for the new TV network.
